Why track patterns
Seeing a rhythm helps you notice when something changes. A dog that stops going out at usual times may need a health check. A cat that sleeps more could be in pain.
Common mistakes
- Skipping entries after a busy day. Set a phone reminder if needed.
- Using vague notes. Write what you saw: "panted, restless, hid under bed".
- Forgetting to update the pet name when a new one joins the family.
Interpreting the chart
Each bar shows how many entries occurred on that day. Gaps show days with few logs. Use the mood and feeding colors to spot trends.
Before the vet visit
Export the PDF two days before your appointment. Note any unusual patterns you noticed. Bring the printed copy or show it on your phone.
